Global Moxa  summit 2026

Moxafrica is holding a 3-day live Global Moxa Summit with Merlin Young and Yuki Itaya.

This summit comprises a unique online training event that doubles as a fundraiser for our mission to raise awareness of and accessibility to Moxa around the world.

Saturday January 24th, 2026 6-10pm UK time (GMT)
    (10AM-2pm Pacific Time - PsT)
    and
January 31st & February 7th, at the same times

(Please note that this event has been rescheduled for technical reasons from Sept/Oct 2025)

Yuki Itaya and Merlin Young are both experienced acumoxa practitioners but they also have special experience as trustees of Moxafrica, a UK charitable organization that’s carried out ground-breaking work with moxa in Africa and Asia. This work includes publishing compelling peer-reviewed clinical research on the use of moxa for supporting recovery from tuberculosis (including when drug-resistant). Between them they have a wealth of unusual clinical experience to share.

In this exciting hands-on webinar they'll introduce you to moxa’s fascinating backstory, and to some powerful moxa techniques that can be used immediately (some basic and some more advanced). They’ll also be discussing some of the possible mechanisms that may explain why moxa was so valued in the past for things that needles simply couldn't do. They also intend to inspire you by suggesting  just how much moxa may have to offer humanity today.
